Я не собиралась покупать эту куклу. Во-первых, потому что мне просто ни к чему была еще одна кукла Kidz’n’Cats, так что я, к счастью, пропустила пред-заказ на нее. Потом две мои подруги получили совершенно бракованных кукол, и я только утвердилась в мнении, что мне эта кукла не нужна. У тех двух кукол были бракованные ноги и зрачок (карих) глаз, слишком маленький для глазниц. Но в то же время, я видела фотографии некоторых счастливых обладателей небракованных кукол, и мне они понравились (с синими и серо-зелеными глазами).
Однако, я все же решилась на нее только тогда, когда узнала, что все куклы Кидз с этого года станут крупнее — т.е. у них будет тело как у Генриетты. Поскольку я шью одежду на этих кукол для продажи, мне была просто необходима модель для нового тела. Куклы из коллекции 2014 года совершенно меня не впечатлили (за исключением, пожалуй, Джоди, хотя у нее тоже есть челка, а я не люблю у кукол челки из макушки), как не впечатлила меня и новая лимитка Wunschpuppe Анетта (у нее опять же была челка!). И тогда я решила, что чем покупать кота в мешке, лучше купить куклу по реальным фотографиям. И начала поиски на ибее. В первую очередь мне хотелось темноволосую синеглазую куклу, но важнее всего были прямые глаза, поэтому когда я увидела эту красавицу с серо-зелеными глазами и золотисто-коричневыми волосами, я в нее влюбилась.
И вот она, моя Генриетта, Wunschpuppe 2013 Limited Edition, кукла Kidz’n’Cats. Ее номер 38 из 300. В этом лимитном выпуске можно было самому выбрать комбинацию глаз (синие, карие или серо-зеленые) и волос (блонд, золотисто-коричневые и коричневые). У моей девочки серо-зеленые глаза и золотисто-коричневые волосы. К сожалению, у нее тоже есть проблема с правой ногой (она согнута вовнутрь), но я постараюсь это исправить. И у нее слишком розовые, на мой вкус, губы (недавняя тенденция у кукол Кидз — я однозначно предпочитаю кукол из выпусков 2009-2011 с естественными губами). Но у нее изумительные густые шелковистые волосы. И она просто милейшее создание.
Я просто обожаю эту девочку!!

Я очень рада, что решилась на нее. А ногу надо проклеить кожей, как тут Лена делала. Сейчас раздела куклу, оказалось, что серые — это не колготки, а леггинсы, на ножках в сапогах еще голубые носочки. От юбочки я сама пищу!

А нашей носочки были белые с розовым сердечком, такие прямо «беби-борновские», что я отдала их Маринке для пупсов

Will her being a 2013 be compatible body size for the 2014 dolls?
Thank you! Yes, the defect is quite obvious on the very first photo, but it does create quite a relax pose.
I have tried to find the information I have seen about the body size for 2014 and I can’t remember where I’ve seen it. I got an impression that Henriette 2013 and dolls 2014 would be the same size. Henriette is taller and a bit larger than my older Kidz dolls (I should really make a comparison photo).
I like this doll, but the pink colour on Kidz’n’Cats dolls is indeed discouraging. Why do they spoil their dolls by giving them such awful colouring?! That is exactly why I sold my Kidz’n’Cats dolls. I’m waiting until they give them back a more natural look before I buy myself another one.
I completely agree with you! The new face-up is not good. I had a chance to compare my own Grace with natural face-up and a Grace from Collection 2012 in person — they were two different dolls: different face-up, different wigs. I couldn’t believe it! I prefer good old dolls with natural face-up — even though they have only 9 joints. Henriette is my only Kidz doll with pink lips, I just have to put up with it.
I love this doll’s clothing, and I want her boots in my size. Her eye color looks more gray-blue to me than gray-green. What color do they look like in person?
Julia, and I love her skirt! I am thinking of selling her outfit as my dolls never wear original outfits anyway, but it’s hard to let the skirt go!
It’s truly gorgeous. I would say, her eyes are indeed more grey-blue. Mike has exactly the same eyes and I have always called them turquoise-blue. I can’t see any hint of green in these eyes.
Thanks for the information about the eye color, Gwendolen. I am seriously thinking about getting Aletta with this color combination because, with her bangs and parted lips, I think she would look a lot like I did at ages 7-10.(My Matilda reminds me of how I looked from 10-14.) But, like you, I love Henriette’s bright blue skirt as well as the whole outfit. There’s so much more to it than Aletta’s. If you do decide to sell it, I would like to buy it.
Julia, I am seriously considering selling that outfit. I will let you know when I have made my decision. Matilda reminds me of myself, too. She also looks quite a bit like one of my daughters.
No wonder she is one of my favourite dolls! Have you considered getting Jodie? She has the same eyes and hair (I think) as my Henriette. I was thinking of ordering her (reluctantly, because I don’t like Kidz’s large bangs) but then by chance found my Henriette on ebay, and I am very happy.
Yes, I have and still am thinking about Jodie. I keep debating between her and Aletta. Pros for Jodie: eye color, hair color, and hair style are right. Cons: I don’t like the way they dressed the bottom half of her without tights or leggings and the lavender would make sense if the top were the same color, so it seems mismatched to me. Of course, I could change the clothing. Pros for Aletta: she’s a limited edition signed by Sonja Hartmann. Cons: her bangs look a bit too thick. I’m not sure which one I’ll go with yet. Such a hard decision. Either way, though, I hope to get Henriette’s outfit because I absolutely love it; in fact, it’s my favorite of all Kids n Cats clothes.
Julia, OK, I think I can sell Henriette’s outfit (I have decided I will survive without the skirt!

You have a tough choice. I must confess I didn’t even notice outfits of either Jodie or Aletta!!
But I think, hair-wise I prefer Jodie. The fact that a doll is signed doesn’t mean much. When Henriette came out lots of people complained about poor quality and various problems which were, given the price and the limited edition, unacceptable! Some people simply returned their dolls. I hope they have learned from that and the new limited edition will not have these problems.

I have just finished doing my BIG thing (nothing to do with dolls), so now I can finally relax and start taking photos of a pile of dresses I have recently finished and start listing them on Etsy and showing them here (3 of them are for Matilda — red like on Lizzie, green polka-dot and orange — in case you interested). Hi Linda, sorry, have just seen your comment. I have never had Sabine and have already sold my Henriette. In fact, I have sold all but 2 of my KNC dolls (I only have Julika and Tinka now). I am trying to scale down my doll population. Good luck in your search.
