Hi Georgia, Thank you. I am glad you've found my review helpful. I'll check the measurements tomorrow. You can basically use American Girl doll patterns for B&P dolls but it's hard without having an actual doll. I have photographed mine in this dress: http://www.pixiefaire.com/collections/18-inch-doll-dress-patterns/products/lisianthus-dress-18-doll-clothes and it sits quite well one them. The pink corduroy dress in this post was made with this pattern: http://www.pixiefaire.com/collections/18-inch-doll-dress-patterns/products/lily-of-the-valley-dress-18-dolls .

Thank you, Polly! Bonnie & Pearl ship worldwide but I would recommend My Doll Boutique for buying one (that’s where I bought all of mine!). They ship internationally but the cost of shipping is not astronomical and they deduct VAT as well. These are good dolls! I would get one. Since you have AGAT, AG and Gotz, B&P will fit nicely with them!

Great review. That is surprising about the foot size. I can’t tell if Bonnie and Pearl ships to the USA. I wish they had a place here like AGAT does (a warehouse anyway to ship from). I am tempted. We have in our collection AG, Gotz and AGAT and they are play dolls.

Hi Beth, and welcome! You are lucky to live so close to these dolls! They are amazing indeed. My two daughters (they are 6,5 and nearly 11) also want one each! Every B&P doll that I receive gets lots of excitement from them. Are you going to get one for your 12yo daughter?

I live less than an hours drive from the actual Bonnie and Pearl stores in south wales uk. They are amazing dolls. My nine year old has one (the red head) and Daisy-Pearl is adored perfectly cared for and looks as good as she did when she came out if the box. She plays with her daily and she has even taken her to Spain. A brilliant quality doll that has remained perfect. My 12 year old fancies one to.

You are right--I've not even heard of Bonnie and Pearl dolls. This one is quite pretty. I love her red hair and the sweet expression on her face. Thank you for reviewing her.

In reply to <a href="http://www.swish-swirl.com/2014/10/03/bonnie-pearl-doll/#comment-124077">Sharon in Spain x</a>.

Hi Sharon, And thank you! Yes, these dolls have sleepy eyes, but they look more realistic than, say, American Girl dolls eyes, because they have an upper eyelid. I also had a thought that maybe I need to change her eyes, but I haven't got a clue either! So she will stay as it is. I thought of putting in normal eyes, not the sleepy ones. After all, people change eyes for AG and Carpatina dolls. I've just received a brown-eyed doll and I like her eyes much more. But I do really like these dolls. And the fact that they are British is an extra bonus for me (well, actually, it is one of the main things). I still prefer AGAT dolls but these dolls are really worth having - they are from a different league. And besides, I am really surprised how much children like them!!

I'm a little intrigued by these dolls and a little bit tempted too, except I just realised that they have 'sleep' eyes, because I too, wasn't over keen on the eyes and thought that perhaps I could change them, but not with sleep eyes, I'd not have a clue.
She's pretty though and her outfit is very sweet looking. You've given a very nice review on her Olga, thank you!
