С праздником Пасхи всех, кто ее отмечает сегодня! Для меня Пасха никогда не ассоциировалась с шоколадными яйцами и пасхальными зайцами. Поэтому сегодня я решила показать мою новую католическую куклу в подобающем месте — в церкви.
Эта кукла — от новой католической (!) компании под названием Dolls from Heaven (Куклы с Небес). Она была их первой куклой, и зовут ее Святая Тереза. Я обязательно сделаю полную рецензию этой удивительной куклы, а пока просто наслаждайтесь фотографиями.
Церковь, где я фотографировала — это Оксфордская Оратория (также известная как католическая церковь Св. Алоизия) в Оксфорде, Великобритания. Она была построена в 19 веке. Если вы будете в Оксфорде, непременно посетите ее, она необыкновенно красива.
В этой церкви есть икона Святой Терезы.

Thank you, Line! Yes, I love this doll (and she has the most beautiful hair!). As for the costume, the credit must go to the company itself — it’s St Therese’s meet outfit! And it’s amazing. It has very high quality (much higher than the AG outfits!) and the details are stunning.

She is stunning and the photos are perfect! The cathedral is a perfect backdrop for St. Therese. My favorites are the ones by the candles and, of course, with her portrait.

Thank you so much, Xyra! I had a lovely Easter (with lots of baking with my children!). This is not, actually, a Cathedral (I think, the only Catholic Cathedral in the UK is in London — Westminster Cathedral — not to be mixed with Westminster Abbey). This is just one of the Catholic churches in Oxford — the one where we go to a Latin mass. It’s very very traditional and beautiful. There are only 4 churches in this order (Oratorians) in the UK — one in London (Brompton Oratory), one in Birmingham, one in York and one in Oxford.
Your photos are lovely. I have St. Therese too! I love her face, and I am looking forward to their new John Paul II doll which is coming out later this year. (I have already pre-ordered mine.)
