Today I've started the most exciting module of my RSN C&D course - the Goldwork! My design was inspired by the metalwork at the altar of the Oxford Oratory, and the red silk dupion is a remnant of the fabric used for the vestments a few years ago. It is a very very special project!

It was wonderful to finally be back at Hampton Cou

It was wonderful to finally be back at Hampton Court Palace for my RSN class today (after 3 months of Christmas holidays followed by the lockdown). Finished my Module 2 - the canvaswork - which is a great relief as I didn't like this technique one bit! I have only survived it thanks to @wellembroidered . Thank you, Sara!! Goldwork module next (very exciting!!)!

(Etsy is 5hensStudios, but the link's in my bio!) I'm also gearing up for an extra special release coming out in the next month or so (!!!), and I could not be more giddy to share more. Until then, here's a slight giveaway of sorts!! The first person who can correctly guess the new *product* of my next release will receive one of the items.
