I have just returned home from a wonderful trip. I only took doll photos during the first week – in gorgeous Saint Petersburg! While I am sorting over 200 photos that I took of the my Catherine the Great doll only (out of 2500 in total!), here is my absolute favourite! I am excited by this photo more than by any other photos I’ve taken. Remember this outfit which I released just before the trip? Well, here is the reason why I made it. I made it thinking about the upcoming trip and with an idea for exactly this photo!! It has come out perfectly, I think!! The palace in the background is the Peter’s Palace (Petrodvorets) in Peterhof, the suburb which is often called The Russian Versailles.
