Let me introduce one of my new girls. She will also be my new model for the dresses I make. I wanted this American Girl doll for a long time and in the end I couldn’t resist it.
She is My American Girl #49. She has medium skin, blue eyes and black-brown wavy hair. And it’s really the combination of dark hair, blue eyes and tanned skin that mesmerizes me.
It took me a long time to decide on her name. Only a month later the name came – Catherine. She is wearing a top and corduroy trousers that I made for my daughter’s doll a couple of months ago. Blue really suits her, I think.
