I have had this doll for about 2 years but somehow she didn’t really click with me so I didn’t feel like taking photos of her. Then my daughter took her from me and she is her favourite Tonner doll now. She really loves her and plays with her a lot. To the point that 6 months ago the doll’s head broke off! Luckily, the Tonner doll hospital helped us and now the doll is whole again and delights us – both!
She is not a standard Tonner doll, she has a teenage body and is 15.5-inch tall (which means she is shorter than Tyler). What I really love about this doll is her exquisite hair – very long and very thick!
And I even have made her a new dress. I used Tamara Casey’s pattern for the dress. The fabric was my daughter’s choice. The beaded necklace was borrowed from my Elinor.
This doll has had many names in our house. She was Reading to Alice originally. Then she was called Maria, Alice, Jane Eyre… And now my daughter has decided to name her Rosalind. So, Rosalind she is!
The dress closes at the back with snaps.
