Red and yellow owls for Rowena

Last Saturday night we said goodbye to Singapore, place I called home for the last 13 years 5 months and 11 days. At the moment all of my dolls are stuck in a hot container on the way to our new destination. I am having a holiday for now and I will be showing some of the photos I managed to take before we left Singapore. I don’t have much time for preparing new articles (my children and I are enjoying the fresh air too much!), but I will try to post at least once a week.

I’ll start with a bunch of photos I prepared some time ago. About 6 months ago I got a custom order for 2 shrugs for Kidz’n’Cats dolls. My mum knitted them and I made another Owl dress to match them (since my customer had bought a similar dress from me before). So, here they are – the Owl dress and yellow and red shrugs. The model is my Rowena (Kidz’n’Cats Grace).

Yellow shrug.

    1. Thank you so much, Cate! My Grace was from the very first batch so she looks different from the more recent versions. I had a chance to compare mine with Grace 2012 and they were very different – the wig, the face-up. I definitely prefer mine!

  2. Another nice dress! The shrugs color and the material are lovely matched. Hope you have a nice and safe moving.

    1. Thank you very much, Daniela! I am keeping my fingers crossed for my dolls. Absolutely nothing I can do for them now. I just hope they will arrive in the UK without any damage to them!! I will find out in 6 weeks…

  3. I found your blog today and fell in love with it. Is it OK to share your blog address on the closed Outlander Pattern fb page? and does your mother share or sell her knitting patterns? Love them all! Hope you have a safe trip.

    1. Hi JoAnn, thank you! I am so glad you like my blog! Yes, of course, please feel free to share it. Unfortunately, my mum doesn’t make knitting patterns, she just knits – without taking any notes. I am trying to persuade her to start writing things down as she knits. If she does I will start making knitting patterns.
