This week I released my first knitting pattern. More patterns are coming, of course. But for the moment here are some photos I took of the Highlands cowls modelled on different types of dolls – just to show how many dolls it actually fits! The pattern started with this cowl that I had knitted for […]
Yesterday my new PDF (and first knitting!) pattern was released. It is now available in my Etsy shop. It is a PDF Knitting Pattern #SS1740-K01 called “Highlands Cowl” to make a fashionable chunky cowl to fit a wide range of 16-20-inch dolls. Design includes: Historical and contemporary look 3 sizes to fit different kinds of […]
Two more Butterfly dresses! This again was a custom order – for Maru and Friends and Kidz’n’Cats dolls. Both dresses have detachable sashes but look just as good without them. They close at the back with a zipper. The dress for Maru and Friends dolls, modelled by my Joanna. The dress for Kidz’n’Cats dolls modelled by […]
Another new dress that I’ve recently made. I love how well this blue colour suits my Joanna. It really brings out her eyes. The bodice of the dress is lined, as usual, and the dress closes at the back with a zipper. I love this fabric so much that there will be more dresses made […]
I wanted to make a peasant blouse with a 3 or 4 tiered skirt with a belt for quite some time. Finally, I have made it. It is made to fit Maru and Friends dolls. I think, my Gemma looks beautiful in it. Some details. The belt is plaited from 3 strands of coloured suede.
And yet another outfit for Gemma. It started with the cardigan that my mum had knitted. Then I made another pair of trousers and a blouse to match. The blouse is lined and closes at the back with 4 snaps. The trousers are a simple dressy style without pockets. They close with a button.
The first dress I’ve made for Maru and Friends dolls. It is my own pattern and design – and, I guess, rather familiar to all by now! The dress is made from high quality cotton and is lined with white batiste. It closes at the back with a zip. The white sash is not attached to the […]
The second 3-tier skirt I’ve made for Joanna out of the remaining fabric. I love mixing royal blue and yellow together! It is such a pity that this royal blue polka-dot fabric is totally sold out everywhere. I wish I could buy more of it! The skirt has an elastic in the waist, the blouse is […]
This is a new outfit I made for Gemma. I had some remains of the polka-dot fabrics, not enough for a dress, so I thought I could use them together in a couple of skirts. I love making 4-tier skirts – even my daughters have a few each! The top took longer to figure out. […]
Recently I had a photo session for my Etsy shop and I also took a group photos of my models which I find quite interesting. The models here are Maru & friends dolls Jamie and Savannah, Kidz’n’Cats doll Galina, A Girl for All Time dolls Matilda and Amelia and gotz doll Hannah Rockstar. Aren’t they […]
Another recent outfit for Maru and friends dolls. This time it’s a cardigan which was also knitted by my mum. She used thin cotton yarn and 1.5 mm knitting needles. The cardigan has a ribbon embroidery. The trousers are just a raw test version (that is the first trousers I have made for these dolls […]
This outfit started with the top that my mum had knitted. I took some pictures of Matilda wearing it first (I’ll show them some other time!), but then tried it on my Joanna and it was so perfect on her that it became hers! I thought the blouse needed something red to compliment it. I […]
