Look who has recently come to live with me! Isn’t she adorable? She is a Canadian girl Leeann from Affordable Designs. She is 28 cm tall and although she is made of vinyl, she is ball-jointed. These dolls have two options of a body, I chose to have joints. I love the way she pose – because she is strung just like a normal BJD. In fact, I fell in love with this little cutie by pure chance when I was looking for some historical patterns for my Iplehouse Bianca. I found the patterns for these dolls which also are supposed to fit Iplehouse BID dolls. And on the photographs those dresses were modeled on Leeann dolls. The more I looked at them, the more I liked them.
I was really lucky to get this Leeann. She is completely sold out but when I asked about her, the owner of the company told me that he had just found one in stock. I took it as a sign. And here she is!!
This Leeann is a Limited Edition of 150. She was created for the 2006 Paris Fashion Doll Festival in Paris, France. She has blue painted eyes and black rooted hair in two ponytails.
I decided to name her Emma.
