Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it today. For me, Easter has never been about chocolate egg hunts or Easter bunnies. So, today I would like to show my new Catholic doll in the appropriate setting. I took these photos in my parish church during Lent.
The doll is from a new Catholic (!) doll company called Dolls from Heaven. She was their very first doll and her name is St Therese of Lisieux. I will post a full review about this amazing doll later but for the moment just enjoy her photos.
This beautiful church is The Oxford Oratory (also known as the Catholic church of St Aloysius as it was built by the Jesuits in the 19th century). Please do visit it when you are in Oxford, you will love it there!!
This is the Sacred Heart Chapel.
Our church has their own St Thérèse! The icon of St Thérèse was painted in 1997, for the centenary of the death of St Thérèse, by Susanna Bailey.
The chapel on St Therese’s right is of St Philip Neri, the Patron Saint of the Oratory.
