Last month my mum, who was staying with me in Singapore at a time, my friend Ariadne and I decided to go for a walk in the relatively new Gardens by the Bay. Although the Gardens were opened more than a year ago, I couldn’t get around to going there (meeting Prince William and Kate a year ago doesn’t count as I didn’t really see anything but them then!). My mum’s visit was a perfect excuse for it! And, of course, we took a doll with us – my gorgeous Ambriel by Bo Bergemann. As it turned out, there was a lot to see there and I took so many photos that I will have to split them into 4 parts!
Today it’s Part 1 – the actual Gardens.

Марина, спасибо. Это теперь мое любимое место в Сингапуре (правда, не сам сад, а два павильона, там так хорошо, прохладно и цветы все родные, знакомые!). Вечером да, они очень красиво подсвечены.
Амбриэль – одна из моих любимиц, ты знаешь. Только платье ей надо в другой цветовой гамме. Планы, планы… И где взять столько времени?? Ведь лежит для нее красный шифон в белый горошек…

Thank you very much, Meg! I don’t often take dolls around with me in Singapore as people’s reaction to doll photography is somewhat annoying here: they all try to take pictures of my dolls and/or of me taking pictures of dolls which I don’t like. But Singapore is beautiful, so I really should make an effort to take more pictures of it before we leave it (one day).
