The dream of my life is about to come true – I am going to Scotland!! And, of course, I couldn’t go without dolls. Especially, since at least 2 of my favourite TV series have strong connections (and multiple locations!) with Scotland – North and South (2004) where Edinburgh played the part of fictional Milton, […]
Again, these photos were taken quite some time ago but I have never shown them. I love this doll so much that I thought I would dedicate this post to her in different dresses. This is Emma by Carpatina. The same doll was the very first doll that entered our house. This one was her […]
I am not exactly sure why I decided to call this whole outfit “Oxford”. Perhaps, because that’s the name of the coat. I have made it by reducing and adjusting the Oxford Coat pattern by Liberty Jane. It is not lined except for the hood (but I will fully line it next time I make […]
In my spare time I’ve been slowly sorting the photos I’ve taken over the last year but still haven’t shown. Here are some of my Mattie – A Girl for All Time Matilda that lives with my mum. The dress was knitted by her (and I’ve shown it before). Mattie in the full outft. Here […]
This is another outfit made by my mum. I have another set of photos involving this dress on a different doll which I took in the summer while on holidays, but I’ll show it some time later. This set is called Summer Breeze. It looks best on Kidz’n’Cats dolls (modelled here on my Michelle) but […]
The final part of Lydia’s trip to Hong Kong! Not so much of Lydia here. I just wanted to show the Frozen madness in Disneyland. My children and I are also big fans of Frozen (who is not!). So, it was very exciting to see so many things related to the cartoon! Photoshoot with Elsa […]
So, Hong Kong Disneyland! We spent 2 full days there (well, at the least the children enjoyed themselves!), but Lydia went there only on the first day. Opera House on the square next to the entrance. We didn’t go inside. A magnificent Christmas tree on the same square! The main street. Sleeping Beauty Castle. Grizzly […]
Our next destination in Hong Kong was Disneyland (for the sake of our children, of course!)! We stayed for 2 nights in the fabulous Disneyland Hotel and it is so magnificent that it deserves to be shown separately! The Disneyland Hotel is built in a Victorian style and has lots Victorian style pictures on the walls. […]
Our second day in Hong Kong was just as exciting as the first one. We decided to go on a double-decker sightseeing bus and also to make a short boat trip to Kowloon (for the sake of a beautiful view of Hong Kong island from there!). The Central Pier and the buses. Here is Lydia […]
We stayed in Hong Kong for 5 days. We spent 3 nights and 2 full days in Hong Kong itself and then 2 nights and 2 full days in Disneyland. The weather was gorgeous for most of the days (which for me means it was below +18C). The first day excited us all with the […]
And so, I am starting a report from A Girl for All Time Lydia’s recent trip to Hong Kong! The trip was short (only 5 days in total), but she has seen so much and I took so many photos of her that I will have to split them into a number of articles. Let’s […]
Another set of photos I took last summer while I was on a holiday in my home town. And another outfit made by my mum! Tinka lives with my mum and works as her model, so I take lots of her photos when I have a chance! I love this Rainbow cardigan and a matching […]
Tomorrow Lydia is going with us on a short holiday to Hong Kong. I’ve spent the last month making outfits and accessories for her and now she has a brand new wardrobe (everything in this picture, in fact, except for the furniture, camera and shoes!). I have made a large tote bag from a pattern […]
Another set which my mum has knitted for Kidz’n’Cats dolls. It includes a top, a handbag and a hat which has an adjustable hole so it can be worn either with the hair down or with the hair in a ponytail. My daughter has made a rainbow loom bracelet to match the outfit. The top […]
Another dress set which was knitted and crocheted by my mum for my dolls. I called it “Pink Delight”. It consists of a dress with detachable crochet belt, a crochet hat and a handbag. It fits Gotz and Kidz’n’Cats dolls beautifully. Modelled here by my Beatrice, Valerie and Emily.
Another dress that was recently crocheted by my mum. I called it “Cool Breeze”. The dress comes as a set with a sewn cotton underskirt and a crochet handbag. It fits equally well my Gotz dolls, Kidz’n’cats dolls and also slim dolls like Magic Attic and Carpatina.
